History: He was born in the west. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Margery was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Through the years after Margery was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Margery's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
