History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Ida was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Description: She wears a robe, a symbol of the sun god around her neck, and a greataxe on her belt. Her skin is fair and her fingers are delicate and long. Her hair, while still mostly silver, has prominent grey streaks. Her hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Beatrice grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Beatrice. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A gifted student he started as a Gardener, but he got bored and became a Courier. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the east. His childhood dream was to be a Courier, but he was a colossal failure. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
