History: She got into the Courier business at a young age. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Courier. She tends to her Courier job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her mother. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. The war was a terrible time for him, and Solomon does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Solomon alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he wants revenge against brigands

Personality: Ralf is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of goblins may trigger it at times.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.
