History: Bernard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and balancing his hectic life and new sculptor responsibilities is difficult

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Helen was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Helen's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
