History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Through the years after Anselm was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Anselm's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world.
