Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Painter profession.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. His first spouse was a Painter, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Mercenary.

Description: This eastern man is well dressed, constantly wearing a brown suit, white shirt, and brown tie. His clothes are grease stained in places. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His eyes are hazel and beady.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Aldous embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and revenge

Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally she sports a grey coat. Her silver hair is long and unkept. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady amber eyes.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature scythe.

Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk; and she desires power and/or immortality
