History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Jacoba was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the brigands.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Adelard took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up club and armor he uses now. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
