Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. Joan enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Her first spouse was a Ruler, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister

History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he tends to wear a violet poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. His blonde hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His eyes are hazel and catlike.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He takes great joy in being the best Beggar in town.

History: Born in the north to a Beggar, Nicholas learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
