History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Gilbert never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Anne alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Weaver.
