History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Bernard never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Eleanor grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Eleanor. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He has all his life been fascinated with dancing.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Mason arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and he is greedy

Personality: She is a hateful person. She taunts others and blames them for her problems. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and marry her brother to traveling adventurers
