History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. A gifted student she started as a Sculptor, but she got bored and became a Soapmaker. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Gerald liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Avelina was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Avelina's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.
