History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Melissa grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: She was born at the edge of vast desert. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She is harsh and unforgiving.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
