History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: Simon wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
