History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Adelard was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Adelard's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Adelard and his spouse have recently divorced.

His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Anselm never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Detective arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She has dedicated herself to building a better kind of golem.
