History: Matilda was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature longsword.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Carter. He tends to his Carter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and sabotage a competitor

Diggory's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.
