History: Born in the east to a Sailor, Heward learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Sailor for the past few years.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. Elysande was born on a far southern island where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Courier. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.
