His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: Gerard wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Gerard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Gerard grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Gerard. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: Manfred hails from a village terrorized by orcs. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Manfred was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the orcs.
