History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. He has achieved small success as a Dyer.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. When Elizabeth reached her early adolescence her Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
