When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was born into a rich family. She moved out west to avoid the crime she committed. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Gifted from a young age, Thomas studied abroad. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting dire rats, the young Thomas began to lead the lost caravan. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying brother.
