History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Through the years after Elysande was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Elysande's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Joan lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her mother worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled mother and took her mother's old job. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: She wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and regain custody of her daughter

History: He was born in a small island village. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Ernest was born the youngest of three triplets. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.
