History: Gifted from a young age, Aldous studied abroad. Through the years after Aldous was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Aldous's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Spice Merchant. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

He sports a long golden beard, and similarly colored long hair. His hazel eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: Simon was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: She is a Bather first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. Rosalind is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Rosalind was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father.

Description: The woman speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. She seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if she got out from a pool a few moments ago. She wears professional attire. Her red hair is braided into rings. She wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. She worked as a nervous Performer and found it very stressful. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Engraver they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Performer, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg.
