Through the years after John was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Personality: Agnes is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Laborer for hire.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and to end her boredom

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears tattered old clothes. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep amber.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Arnold took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up quarterstaff and armor he uses now. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
