History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Adelard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Anne alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Roger was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared.
