He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Manfred was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He worked as a nervous Sage and found it very stressful. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Sage.

Motivation: To be a Beggar again; and balancing his hectic life and new sage responsibilities is difficult

His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His hair, while still mostly black, has prominent grey streaks. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Kyle embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. After a long history of fighting, Kyle and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Through the years after Simon was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Simon's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Simon and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
