History: Richard was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Servant work with an outfit from a few towns over. Servant work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She is obsessed with finding treasure.
History: Heather was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. As a young child she wandered into the woods despite her father's warnings against it. Afterwards she claimed she had encountered goblins who tried to eat her hand. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature nunchaku.
Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and she wants revenge against goblins

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.
History: Gunter hails from a village terrorized by drow. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: Griselda hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her painting career. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.
History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has never given up on her painting dream.
