Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.
History: He was born in a small mountains village. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

Description: His right side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He wears an entirely tan suit with black socks and a vest with buckled shoes. He wears his auburn hair down. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are brown.
Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Rolf was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and he is wracked by social anxiety

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. A gifted student he started as a Miller, but he got bored and became a Layabout. He now owns his own business.
Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.
History: Conrad lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Conrad liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
