History: Matilda lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Miles isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Born in the west to a Ploughman, Miles learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Ploughman for the past few years.

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. While she appears to be a normal Human, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and she has money and likes to spend it

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Ploughman they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Spy, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and human compassion
