History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Knight work with an outfit from a few towns over. Knight work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. Personality: In the realm of puns, she cannot help herself. She feels obliged to make them. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and a rival would like her out of the picture

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Charles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He moved out east to avoid the crime he committed. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he has decided he is irredeemable
