Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Soapmaker who has hired him part-time. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Hugh was born with his mother's beautiful face. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Emeny lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She was granted necromantic powers by her dying sister.
