History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. In her 16th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. Some 5 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Alice never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Roger grew up listening to his father's many stories. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

As a very small child her family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. Her mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect her and cast a teleportation spell that whisked her away. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
