Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. The war was a terrible time for him, and Thomas does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Tim grew up listening to his mother's many stories. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Trym embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He takes great joy in being the best Guard in town.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He tends to his Guard job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
