History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Dean grew up listening to his father's many stories. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Justin has worked very hard to control his curse. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and seeks redemption
