Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Roger is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Alex is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. After a long history of fighting, Alex and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. During his travels, Gilbert and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Gilbert discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Gilbert fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and he desires power and/or immortality

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Jocelyn grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
