History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A freak accident while working with his Weaver father left him crippled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
