History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Adelard never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion
