Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. His first spouse was a Dilettante, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Miles alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Tailor for hire.
