History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. His parents were killed by goblins in a raid when he was still a young child. The goblins captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Joan has worked very hard to control her curse. After a long history of fighting, Joan and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

Description: He stands about 5'2" and wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. His right leg appears badly burned and disfigured. He keeps his black hair in a pixie cut. His blue eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Richard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Ploughman hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 10 years.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

Description: Standing 6'4", this man wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame. His hair is long and chestnut with streaks of auburn, and is pulled back with small green clips. His beard is auburn, braided, and well cared for. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Born in the east to a Engraver, Dean learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He struck the Engraver job and began his own company from there.
