Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Anne embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Her first spouse was a Server, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. After a long history of fighting, Anne and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father; and doesn't want to be a farmer and was forced into it by her family

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with music. He constantly tries to fill his life with music. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: Cecily was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Sage. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
