His skin is also unnaturally pale. His red hair is thinning but still full. His eyes are likewise green. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: Chad lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: The child of a Body Guard, who enjoyed hunting, Egelina was taken on many hunting expeditions. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Bather. She now mingles about in high society.
