History: Miles was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Gifted from a young age, Geoffrey studied abroad. Geoffrey liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying sister.

History: She got into the Engraver business at a young age. She married young, but lost her spouse to dire rats. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and many dire rats want her driven away
