Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Giselle took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up bastard sword and armor she uses now. She has worked as a Baker like her mother before her.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Aline grew up listening to her father's many stories. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Stableman. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. The war was a terrible time for him, and Norman does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Norman was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
