History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

His father taught him the rudiments of the Fisher arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His childhood dream was to be a Herbalist, but he was a colossal failure. He now mingles about in high society.

She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.
