He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Description: Standing 6'4", this man sports pastel clothing, slightly heavier than average wear. He sports a flattop hair cut. His eyes are violet and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Bertram grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Bertram. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
