History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Nicholas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Nicholas was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Nicholas's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has worked as a Server like his father before him.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Ploughman arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Ploughman work with an outfit from a few towns over. Ploughman work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: Alice hails from a village terrorized by giants. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Alice was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and a deep hatred of giants

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Gifted from a young age, Simon studied abroad. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
