History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. In his youth he was a Tanner, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying brother.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Raymond grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Raymond abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he's looking for his big break

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, William was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He now mingles about in high society.
