History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Personality: She is fixated on the number 74. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Herleva was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Herleva grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Herleva. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and sabotage a competitor
