History: He was born into a rich family. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Hugh was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: He got into the Bather business at a young age. Through the years after Simon was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south.
