History: Oriel lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her father worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled father and took her father's old job. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Margery was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Cory fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Elysande was born the youngest of three triplets. Her first spouse was a Ploughman, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.
