History: Bertram was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Sage. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: Helen hails from a village terrorized by drow. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact.

History: Born to a Herbalist, her father struggled to pay the bills. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. In the meantime she has taken over work as a Healer and occasionally as a mercenary.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.
