History: Oriel hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She tends to her Map Maker job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

A gifted student she started as a Crown-heir, but she got bored and became a Interpreter. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.
